I only just began generating traffic, due in no small part, to list site submissions. My question is about growth.

I'm floundering at between 1500 and 2000 uniques a day, and have been for the last couple of weeks. How does one make the jump to the next level?

At this point, I'm submitting daily to some very big lists, most of which don't allow more than one submission in a 24-hour period.

Beyond mainstream SE optimization, and webring submission, and link exchanges, is the solution to create additional sites and submit them to smaller sites, those that accept more than one submission a day?

I hesitate to do this because prior to discovering lists like Jays, GreenGuy, SmutGremilin, PenisBot, etc., I was submitting to smaller sites who were eager to accept any submission, but returned/return next to no hits (1 or 2 uniques a day from some, fewer than that).

Anyone out there got any hints?

Counting hits isn't important - counting revenue at the end of it is.

1 hit who is a BUYER is worth more than 1000 hits that don't but a thing. You have to look not at "how many" but "how many dollars"...

Some of my best sites are only listed at places that send one or two hits, but they send the RIGHT 2 or 3 hits.

The perrenial question.

Except the number of hits slowly goes down year after year.

3 years ago the number of hits at the leveling off point would have been "3000 to 4000".

Anyway, theres no easy answer.

In the past, the answer would have been to add more traffic varieties. TGP posting or starting TGPs, AVS, toplists, CJ, or SE.

All harder to do these days.

Try submitting your freesites to more than 1 or 2 categories.
