Hi everyone
Firstly i m sorry for my English.i m a newbie as i said.i m building free sites.And i have some 404 traffic from them.it s little But i think have to use for something.i m looking for sponsor. Can u advice me somewhere? or what do u think can i send it to dialer?
and i m from Turkey.sponsor must accept me.(Most of them not) I dont cheat like others...

well OKN where do you send the surfers from you freesites? I mean the traffic which ISN'T 404? I assume you must be seding those to sponsors as well, aren't you? And if so, what's wrong with those sponsors?

yeah i tried to send but i got no sales from them. if you've got sales from your 404 traffic with not bad ratio. Which sponsor do u use? or other way i wanna send it to click sponsor.

OKN, the way I see it, 404 traffic is not your best quality traffic. I mean, how much 404 traffic can you have? Just a tiny little bit... as long as you don't delete sites after you submit them... which I want to think you're not doing.

Now finding a good sponsor... that can be tricky. There are loads out there, you need to see which works out for you. Sign up and send some traffic to a few of them, there's a list here http://www.greenguysboard.com/main/welcome.html and there are a lot of banners on this board filled with good sponsors...

And what do u think am i send that traffic to dialer? is it allowed by Linklists?

Well, they don't like you redirecting your surfers at arrival. Meaning the surfer should be able to see your freesites (pages, content, evertying). But if the sponsor link takes the surfer to a dialer, I don't see why they would mind, as long as it's not one of those dialers which fuck the surfer (very high rates, shitty software you can't uninstall, exe's that dial when the guy isn't even at his computer, etc).

A little tip: most sponsors will still take you. Yes, they might require some additional verification, probably, but as long as you're an honest WM and you speak with them prior of joining, you'll se that they will be willing to take you.

Can you explain to me what's the source of that 404 traffic? Where does it come from? I dunno why but I have the feeling your 404 traffic isn't the usual type.

i m building free sites. My all traffic resource is from LLs.so all of my 404 traffic are coming from my freesites .
Why do u think that my 404 traffic isn't usual?(not getting sale?)if it was the reason i dont know why didn't i get sale

Why not just correct whatever problems are causing the 404's?

Yeah GG that's what I was thinking but I'm yet not sure of his understanding of 404 traffic.

So, OKN, even with problems corrected, you still get some noisy buggers tryin to snoop in where they shouldn't. These guys usually try to fill links by hand, based on the structure of the site in which they're in allready and they get to a custom 404 Eror page with sponsor links on it. So this is like 1% of your traffic. Add some 1-2% more for the surfers which come to your site from a bad link, and get to a 404 Error page - you've got 3% of the total traffic tops. THIS is 404 Traffic. Is this it?

If so, I wouldn't worry about it. Convert the other 97% and you'll be okay. That's what you need to be focusing on getting sponsors for, no the 404 little guys. Just put a FPA there, or a custom jump page with a few categories/sites for them to choose from, and link them to the same sponsors you're linking in your freesites, that ought to do it...

And as i said i m a newbie and still learning how to build free sites.And i dont wanna lose my traffic etc although it s little.Then i ll build another page for 404 traffic . Mornin' OKN.
That's right, just have a .htaccess file which will redirect your surfers getting errors to that custom error page I was mentioning.
