advanced submitter database help!

I'm wondering what is the best way to make custom databases in advanced submitter.

I'd like to make a database for each niche i do and just be able to load the database i need.

Also I'd like to be able to extract certain data from the current database and use it to create my own.

You can group sites together by submission type and then only submit to those submission types you select under the settings tab.

It does interest me but it seems many of the big free site submitters reccommend making your own database and it would actually be really useful for me to do so. I have figured a way of doing it myself by exporting the database then opening it in excel but it seems a little long winded.

I'd consider myself as a rather experienced freesite and gallery submitter and I have to agree with the others. But building your own database doesn't mean that you'd have to start from zero like everybody else does. You can also save yourself the 2-3 months of work in exchange for $150 and consider the bought database as advanced starting point.

Just submit for 1-2 months to the database then and weed out those sites that never send you any traffic, and you'll end up with a perfect database

I agree it would be really useful for TGPs but I'm using it to make recips and aid submition to LLs.

The paid databse as far as I can see is for either TGPS or MPGs.

So thats not so useful for LLs.

Thats good to know.

Just to let you know why I found the sample free database difficult to use:

I was trying to to submit to a lingerie freesite - so I selected the lingerie category in submission type- but there are some LLs which dont have a lingerie category that have other suitable categories such as softcore. And my freesite that I made was also suitable for the Porn Star category.

However when I selected the extra submission types it duplicates some LL submission so that for example for link-o-rama I would be submitting to both porn star and lingerie category and the program would make recips for both. If advanced submitter didn't do that it would be much easier to use.

Basically that's a problem that can't be avoided if you make a database for more than one category. But you could select "LL_Lingerie" as your main category, and move those Sites that you'd like to use too from "LL_Softcore" to "LL_Lingerie". That way you'd end up with a new submission category that would fit your Freesites almost perfect

Hmm - I think the best way to do that is to duplicate something in LL_lingerie to LL_softcore-lingerie rather than change it. That means that the softcore category stays complete if I ever need to go back to it. And I can easily choose the extra LL_softcore-lingerie if its applicable to that freesite. Similarly I could do this with LL_pornstars-lingerie.
thanks for your help with that - it now makes the databse alot more workable.

Just one question about the large member database which I can buy:

Say for example I make the above changes and also remove some crappy LLs from the database and save it what then happens when the database is updated (Assuming the paid databse comes with updates). How will installing the update effect my current settings?

I wouldn#t remove anything from the DB, you can also move those LL that you don't want to use to LL_Crappy

The free updates for the Database basically just come as a complete new database. But you can i.e. just import the sites from the new database (sites.dat) into your old database with the "Override existing data" feature off, that way only sites that were added with the update would get imported into your existing DB.

BTW: I have a newsletter at http://www.adultsponsortest.com/news.../subscribe.php if you want a short info when the LL DB is ready.

Okay that makes sense and I think you've solved all my concerns. I'll get submitting tomorrow.

I'm on that mailing list

Thanks
