I don't understand what it is you are trying to do. Are you just trying to link a banner to a sponsor?

Sorry about that,
Like I said I know next to nothing about affiliating I have a banner already, or I can make new ones, that advertise my web site. At the moment my banners only have normal html links back to my web site. How would I go about promoting a banner on other web sites but offer the other webmasters, cash, in terms of the members that they would(hopefully)produce. |

Who are you using to process your memberships? Most third party processors have an affiliate program solution available.

Oh, I see it is done through a merchant type account, whoever I decide to use.
Ok at the moment I'm with CCbill but I am in the process of changing to Ozbill, cause they give a better rate. I will ask them about it. Cheers. |

If an affiliate program is going to be a significant part of your business plan then my recommendation is to stick with CCBill. A new program with an unproven processor will make many affiliates reluctant to promote your site. CCBill is well known and proven. I'm confident the increase in affiliate sales will more than make up for the difference in rate.

No matter how good you are at something, there's always about a million people better than you

Hey Joe Pineapples,
I agree with GG and Toby, stick with CCBill. Many of us already have an affiliate account with CCBill and it's easy to add another sponsor to our master account. Ontop of that, as has been stated, CCBill is trusted and that trust will get you more affiliates from the start. Good luck with your site and you should post a link to it so we can see what you've got to offer... Regards, SF |
