Don't know if anyone else has seen this commercial, but I about fell outta my chair last night while watching the DL Hugely show on Com. Central last night--a commercial for CyberAge.

Can commecials for acutal sponsor sites be far behind??

Over here we get a lot of ads for sex chat lines on some mainstream channels. They have to be the most boring adverts on TV, after those Time Life CD collection ads.

we have every eve commerials for sex chat and webcams on telly only they make sometimes an mistake and show those adds on channels for kids.now last time i was in the car dropping my kids of at soccer practise on an wednesday midday, alwasy shocking when you kids sing along and suddenly an commercial about sextoys comes i between.............i never blush but hey that was the first time i was blushing again in 15 years..........how stupid can you be to do that on an wednesday midday when al the kids are free from school in holland

Showcase has some pretty good stuff. The other day they had the designer from Sex Machines on and with some explicit demonstrations. I'm wondering how they don't get busted.

i think the idea is not that bad but how many people will see it that are really looking for this kind of stuff. do they run from their tv to their pc to check it out, or do they see it and think i will check it out and they then forgot the address. It is not like with other products that so very often come accross in stores and billboards when your on your way to something. That is the key of advertising keeping a presence as long as you can. BUt have to be reminded very often till that point you buy or join. I ask my self can we do that for this biz.

A.C.P. Carl - What you say is true, but they are probably going for brand recognition. I.E. when you come across Cyberage on the web, it is no longer just another shady company trying to get you to part with cash for porn, instead it is that company you saw advertised on TV. And if it was on TV they must be a respectable company, giving a good product and a company that it is safe to give your credit card details to.

I saw some chat line commercial that caught my eye (GET-CHAT maybe?) Because the commercial has Sunny Leone, Nikki Nova and Aimee Sweet(? maybe wasnt sure) in it. Thats kinda porn-ish! lol
