 As most of the people here in the States, I'll be having dinner with family & watching football all day - possibly having a cocktail or 2 I'll be on & off the computer all day as well, as lately I've been delagated to smoke in my office only - LOL So Happy Thanksgiving to all the US webmasters & to the rest of you, Happy 4th Thursday Of November  |

The pies are cooking and the boys are on their way into town so Ill be in a similar position - and I think cocktails are definitely in order - although 5:30 in the morning might be a little early - think Ill wait till the games start Have a fantastic day |

I gotta know something about Thanksgiving......
When I was in the USA I was given turkey with oyster stuffing. Is oyster stuffing a common choice? Or was the lady who gave it me, hoping for a night of passion?

Yep, Happy Thanksgiving
I am just getting ready to throw the Turkey in the oven. We use a special stuffing that was invented by my Great- Grandma NeNe. It consists of potato's, bread, and secret ingredients but not oysters. It really is the hardest part of the Thanksgiving dinner and only family members know how to make it Unless you have an old Betty Crocker cookbook. I remember NeNe getting paid $50 for the recipe and they printed it in 2 of their cookbooks. These books were printed in the 60s so good luck finding them. |

Absolutely beautiful day here today. 72˚F with blue skies, just great weather. Going to wash the Vette and then go over to my neighbor's house. We'll probably all end up naked in his pool or on his boat. |

Urb - I had never had oyster dressing until I met my now ex-husband. His family makes it every year. They are Italian, and the only people I know that make it.
BTW, I don't eat oysters, but it was good! |

Man I love stuffing I am so lucky that my wife sat down with my mother and learned how she made hers. Its all about giving thanks today so I would like to thank all of the wonderful folks here on the board who keep things going and a special thanks for Greenguy and Jim for having such a great place
