Do you name each page of your FS differently?

I was reading one of those SEO for dummies things, and it occured to me I might be screwing up by using the same name for each of my 4 pages on me freesites.

What are some good ways to go about naming them? Perhaps use the same keyword on each page with some variation? Of perhaps I should be worrying about other things...?

Any thoughts?

Are you talking about title head tags? or some text that appears near the top of your body?

I try to give every page a unique title tag, with matching words/phrases somewhere in the body. Sometimes I'm too lazy though.

I don't think the title of a freesite repeating in the body on every page is harmful.

YEs, different title tags...sorry for not being clear.

Say, this was the index page...

Code:

<title> Free Porn Site</title>

Would it be worthwhile to, on the main page, do:

Code:

<title> Porn "something, something"</title>

And then something different in g1 and g2.

After doing FS over a year now, I'm starting to realize that SEO can be beneficial for freesites, very much worth the few extra minutes it takes...just want to get it right.

Most definitely - but it has to match the content.

including the name of the site on the page also helps

yes, name I each page (aside from index.html) keyphrase-goes-here.html, use it in title tags & also in H1 tags.

It's really hard to say if it works but since it takes only few seconds, thats exactly what I'm doing

Forget about all. You have only one chance to improve SE positions - only if you "grind" your freesite to a specific keyword or phrase. But links go to LL ass so fast that FS has really little chance to "shoot up". If you want, I can share a little thoughts about it in ICQ, have really no time to write here...
