Eman -
I know pretty much what you feel.
We had to put down a Gordon Setter this summer. He was about 14 or so (we never did know how old he was) but he was with us for 10+ years.
He is know resting next to the camper where we all take care of him every summer.

It's a sad thing when a pet dies. We had to put down our little dog because she fell off of the couch and broke her back. We did everything to try and save her, paid several thousand dollars for surgery only to have her stroke out. I know exactly how you feel!

Thank you all for your support - it did help me. And please accept my sympathy for your own losses.
I got a nifty digital camera with my CECASH vault points earlier this year, so thankfully I've got some nice photos to look at

I've posted a pic here http://www.hadafew.com/misc/boots.jpg

I just heard on our local news that they found a chiwawa (my spell check can't even find that) in one of those plastic kennels on the side of the road starved to death and frozen.

I had a Great Dane die last year way too young. Only 4 years old. The problem was that we were having a Graduation party and there was no grieving process.
