Online MPEGS not playing on my WMP
MPEGS that are online are only playing on my Quicktime player, when I deleted my QT they would not play for me at all, if I download the MPEG they will play on my WMP but I want them to play like they should when they are online.
I use IE6 with SP2 and my WMP is 10, I have looked in both and as far as I can tell they should be playing online in my WMP. Anyone have an idea what I am missing? (Other then I do not own a MAC) |

It sounds like an undefined file type association. Do .mpeg files have an application icon next to the file name in Windows Explorer, or is it the generic plain icon?

Those scum-sucking lamers at Apple.. like to do a Micro$oft and take over all your shit..!
Torn.. go to.. Start Settings Control Panel Quicktime File Types ... and "untick" all the ones you want back.. You may have to "re-associate" the files with WMP after that DD

That’s one of the fucked things DD, I had the WMP set to play MPEGS and the QT not to play anything, and I confirmed that the QT was still set to not play them and all files were still unchecked, Toby suggested that I reinstall the WMP which I tried and it now works as I wanted it to in the WMP.
Thanks Toby and DD for the advice |
