What's your experience with TrialBucks?

Hey guys,

I just signed up for the program. Went to the signup page of one of the sites to see what's the whole deal about. Didn't like it much, but that doesn't matter.

Was looking around at their "Marketing Tools" section and didn't find much. When I went to check the hosted galleries the movie screencaps didn't show. I didn't try even downloading one of the samples.

All of the sites are very behind on Alexa rank - 1+ million, which makes me think they're not very popular with affiliates. For now I'm not concidering promoting them, but would like to hear what you guys have to say.

Wait what? The signup page for the sites don't matter? How do you think they're gonna convert your traffic into paying customers?

From the signup page:
**************************
By clicking the "Submit" button I affirm that I am over 21 years of age and that I will receive 30-Days FREE access if I accept two affiliate promotional offers on the following pages within 24 hours. If I fail to accept the two offers within 24 hours, I understand that I will be immediately charged $81.36 for an annual license to the MediaPipe Download Manager Software. I also understand that if, after accepting two trial offers, I decide not to cancel within the 30-day trial period then I will be charged the annual license fee at the expiration of the trial period. I further understand that for my convenience this transaction will automatically renew each year until cancelled. Please review our complete billing terms for more information regarding this offer.
***********************************
So what do they pay you on, the free signup or the customer joining for $81.36?

It is a nice backwards way to sell crappy software for a huge price.

"free" is rarely free. I had the same issue with "free avs" sites that had a huge cross sale monthly price buried in the terms.

I was thinking about the same thing. By it doesn't matter I meant that I don't like it how they're actually making cash, from the moral point of view - small text at the bottom of a CC form. I read thru their TOS, but didn't see anything that said the surfer has to convert to a full membership for the webmaster to get credit.

Anyway, that's not my problem. The main thing is that the whole program seems suspicious.

I tried them for a month or so & all I know is that my conversion ratio was 0:5000 or something horrendous like that.

Buh-bye

Yea, I've got some old free sites with their content on em...so can't really change things out. The free sites were part of a much larger site I purchased several months ago. Anyway, yea...Trial Bucks sucks wind sales wise...1:4700 over the past 8 months or so.

We used them to and didn't convert at all and my link checker picked their sites up as 404 many times so I ended getting rid of them completely.
