This season of "The Shield " has been so good.
Forest Whitaker playing the scumbag internal affairs cop trying to take down Vic Mackey has been fucking awesome and now that he's in the stationhouse I can't wait to watch next week.

I love The Shield - been watching it since it came on a couple of years ago.
I really fucking hate Forest Whitaker's character, especially after last night's show...which means he's doing a really good job  |

I almost started watching it when they announced Forest would be on the show but then they had another commercial "Parental Guidence Suggested" for the damn commercial. I just can't bring myself to watching something that plays on the shock factor.

The show is intense and its well done.
The language suits the show and it isnt overly used. Now we just need FX HD Over There was great as well but that was cancelled. THIEF is coming in march.. looks good.

I have become a fan of The Shield here lately. I had never even heard of it before until like October. In October they had a marathon of it where they showed the whole previous season then they kept advertising about the new season starting in Jan. I watched the whole marathon and I was hooked. Talk about an intense show. Plus it fits into my regular TV watching schedule pretty good. The wife and I always watch House and then when House is over we just flip to FX for the Shield. Other than sports those are the only 2 TV shows I watch, so its nice they are always on back to back.

I had to avoid this thread until today since the dvr caught it but I hadn't had time to watch it until last night. And damn, GG, but yeah, I really wanted to hurt Whitaker's character during the latest show. He's doing an excelletnt job. And it's interesting to see the Vic character under some real pressure.
I'm looking forward to Thief too. Before I saw the commercials I thought it was a remake of the old Jimmy Cann flick, but it looks like it could be an interesting series instead.

I was hooked like year ago also. Though took a while to get use to Vic being this bad-ass cop, remembering the "commish". Forest sure was a good addition, think they needed it. Awesome show.

The Shield is a great show. I wish I could be more like Vic in real life, but I come off more like Dutch then anything else.
