MANILA, Philippines - Nearly 4,000 mothers in the Philippine capital reportedly set a new world record on Thursday for the largest number of women simultaneously breast-feeding their babies in the same place, organizers said.

I saw that last night and couldn't help but wonder who had the record before. I see it from the Yahoo article but I still have the other question....why is there a record?
