You never know

Had quite a scare this evening. My son who is 25 had been dating a girl who we all thought he would marry. They had been together 4 years but broke up last month. We loved her like a daughter, she was a very petite beautiful girl very quiet just a sweet heart! She is really upset over the breakup and has been calling my son 24 hours a day. Well tonight she showed up at his new place and went nuts. She pulled a knife out and headed for him. Luckily my son is 6'3 and built so he was able to easily take her down and get the knife. The police came and took her to a holding place for psychos. Thank god he didn't get hurt and she didn't hurt herself. We are all in shock as I said she is tiny and has never showed any kind of violent tendencies just the opposite! So you really never know I guess. I told the cops he needs a restring order and they agree. WTF happened is still the big question. My son is very much like his dad, very kind hearted and treated her like gold. I feel really bad for him. Not to mention the fact I'm scared to death she will try something again. We all hope she gets the help she needs but I'd like to have a few minutes with her...

One of my good friends (married) has a daughter who just turned 15 last week. She is a very pretty girl and a very nice girl. But she has an extreme temper when provoked. She was suspended for fighting another girl (second fight this semester) and calling the security guard (who was restraining her) all kinds of foul names. She will be allowed to take her final exams on June 5th. I hear all this and know it's true but I'm still in shock and disbelief of how much things have changed for teen girls in our current society.

Change isn't always for the best

I hear ya Surfn! If you only knew this person like we all did who is 21 so not a teenager. She is so what I'd call meek, if that makes any sense Never someone who we thought would do this, it's very scary stuff! I just got off the phone with her parents who are great people and they are totally in shock. It's all very sad at this point.

Other then the Food Network can you think of any TV channel that doesn't show violence or sex in some form every couple of hours? It seems like all the most popular shows involve violence today.

Of course the fact that it's more popular to NOT raise your children today I'm sure has something to do with the change.

Shit... sad to hear that but I have seen that sort of crap going on in society for YEARS now. Hell, my ex-wife pulled knives on me and then would shut off the lights... never would know if she was coming for me or hurting herself. She's 30 now and remarried... the stories go on.

I think your son had an idea of who she "really" was and did the right thing and left. I wish him the best and remind him not to pay attention to his ex's psychotic demands/pleas.

As per her, help can only work for those who want it to work.

Damn bunky2u, turn the lights out now that is scary. I do realize this stuff has been going on forever in society. Still have to say again never in a million years would anyone think she would be like that, including my son.

well think of the fact who broke up the realationship? did he? if so then you can understand why she freaked, its hard to understand if you love someone and that person dont love you anymore..... i dont say its right what she did, but its something what happens alot here in holland...one breaks up his or her realationship and the other still big in love wont understand and dont understand the why and want the person back. heayyyyy i dont talk from exprience ...i am with my guy more then 22 years and yes i will kill him if he leaves me

These things happen when you have a great big cock. Some women just don't want anyone else to have it.

(Sorry Sue. You probably didn't want to hear that about your son, but I couldn't resist.)

But you are so right, it's the only reason I've kept my hubby for almost 30 years now....

And for the record SHE broke up with him and then wanted him back! My son had them waiting in the wings for this to happen, so maybe he is packing not only his wallet but elsewhere.....|shocking|
