Lost newbie - please help
Hello. I am not a Webmaster (not YET), however I am finding it impossible to find any answers on the internet for my questions. I am posting here because it seems like there are REAL people here who actually want to help! (thanks).
Right now all I have is a computer, webcam and digital camera. I want to start doing live cam shows on sites like livejasmin.com, etc. I was thinking about doing a show of just myself (I'm a 37 year old male) but I know that the couples make more money. I have been trying to find a willing female to go 50/50 with me on doing live webcam shows but it has been hard. I have posted in Craigslist and a local alternative newsletter to no luck Is there a better way to find a willing partner? I need some basic knowledge, if there is a site to go to I would be very apreciative. Thanks a bunch! PG |

Thanks, but now lost again......
i checked out ifriends. it all sounded cool until i got to the part where they say you need to 'perform with someone that you already have an intimate relationship with'....well, i was hoping to eventually branch out to hire girls to make videos with me to post.......yes they allow you to create your own website and post vids in your fan section, but with the above rule it seems i could only do this with a continuous partner...
bah... so, am i to create my very own website?..... are there any sites that allow you to do this but use random girls (as long as they present ID and stuff of course)...... or do i have to create my own site from scratch?... thanks again!!!!! PG |

ok, maybe i should rephrase my last post....
first of all, thank all for your replies.
i have rethought this. what i really want is to have my own website. not livecam but pay videos. i see many, many websites with girls and a single guy. are they all risking themselves?... wont models be willing to take an STD test? i think i may be in the wrong website, i guess i am looking for 'how to make your own amateur porn site'. any suggestions? thanks again, the honest answers i have been getting are rare. i have been surfing for over a week now, not sure what i want. now i think i know what i want, and i still cant find any basic answers other than here, and again, thank you. at this point i feel i am being a pest so i will say this one time to avoid being a troll: i want to start my own porn website with me and women that i tape. is there a place to get started? where do i find the girls? i know of a lawyer connection so that base is covered. what am i missing? thanks ++++++++++++++++++ PG |

The only way you will make money is just what doc said. GAY. There is not much call for girls watching guys and paying for it as its very easy for them to start up a free chat with someone on an instant messenger program and have the guy show off for free. Also, if you go "Gay" Be prepaired for some extreame requests. Most of the guys I know who do cam shows make no where near the money as a female, hot or otherwise. There was a site, I forgot the name sorry. That is an all gay cam site and they do very well. But they are very strict as to who they allow on the site. 99% of the guys were either very very buff body builder types or twinks (soft of the outside n creamy in the middle IE twinky like the food).
As far as getting a girl to do shows with you and go 50/50. Won't happen and if by some rare chance you get one, she will either be a "work boot" (big dark stinky hole) or she will be a crackhead. The later will prob know she can make more sucking pole in one night and working you over on cam for someone. Best advice, get a girl friend. She does not have to be hot or young. As long as she is willing and you are both tested you should make some money but not enough to live on unless you are in a 3rd world country. Doing cam shows is not something to take lightly, in fact my wife was just complaining to me about her elbow and how it's starting to get fucked up from her leaning on it 1/2 the day. Sound funny but it won't be if he gets "water on the joint". It's a realy job for most of the people doing it and they treat it as such. I get the impression you are just looking to get laid and show off in the process. You might be better off just getting a hooker. |

Basically, I have been working in offices for the past 15 or so years. I am sick of working for someone, I always wanted to be my own boss. I am an amatuer photographer and I really want to just take erotic pictures for a living, but I know thats tough to get into. Right now I need money and someone told me about www.livejasmin.com. I checked it out and it looks good. I don't mind showing off for men but the person told me lot's of women in uK watch the single guys too but that really doesn't matter to me. however the online help person at livejasmin told me that couples make more than the single men so I thought I'd try to find a partner. But, if I did it as a solo guy, how much could I make? I'm not looking to get rich, but an extra 200 a week would really help.
I see all kinds of ads online for booklets and videos on how to break into erotic photography and porn and the big 'secret' always seems to be 'how to get the girls' and they claim there are many out there..... Again, I don't mind doing shows just for men if I had an idea how much I could make. I am not very concerned about my image getting copied around. I was told that copywrights are being more enforced now in the online porn industry, at least for live cam show like livejasmin. PG |

no one can tell you how much you can make .. if they spout these huge numbers its probably to get you to buy their program..
How much you can make in live cam as a man is really up to you and how you perform for those viewing you.. if you sit there slumped over, take fuzzy pics for your archives, never smile, and don't do anything to make you stand out, then probably not very much.. but if you get on, update your archives, SMILE all the time..look like you are enjoying yourself.. and market yourself as a niche.. which you have to decide what niche you are comfortable with.. then you will make some $$ .. who knows how much.. but you sure as hell won't make any $$ by not taking that first step and getting registered and starting.. I know I friends (remove space) is still the largest traffic producing cam site.. and the oldest for live stream.. you might want to try to practice over there, what works and what doesn't for you before going on to other cam sites where you'll get discouraged if you are instantly seeing traffic. Some cam sites, btw, do not market at all for the single guy or gay niche.. so you need to see which ones do. ok that is all for now.. Quote:
