Questions for LL owners
I have used my Sunday to read LL board. As you know by now, I'm going to build a new free site empire at 2004. After reading I have couple of questions:
1. After checking the free sites webmasters gave URLs, I found out that their pictures were BIG. How big must pictures be these days to get accepted? What about thumbs? 2. I like to use a copyright in bottom of my pages. Like this: Copyright 2003 mydomain.com. All rights reserved. All models 18 or older. Can I link the domain name to that domains index page like: Copyright 2003 http://www.mydomain.com. All rights reserved. All models 18 or older. That's it now. I ask more later.

Hiya Finnbear,
I'm sure there will me many that will answer this but here is my thoughts: 1) min 600 pix on longest side. For thumbs i guess 100+ is good. 2) I have no problem with this at all. Last edited by amadman; 2003-12-28 at 10:51 AM.. |

If you are going to mark the pictures, keep it SMALL. I have set not more than 5% coverage as a limit, just to have a number out there.
Also, we know the models are over 18, so you don't have to include that on the picture. Keep it simple (C)mydomain.com and there ya go. Alex |

Hi finnbear,
For me, as long as the pics are about 500 on the long side, that is cool. The thumbs don't really have to be any certain size, as long as they are not some tiny little things. As for any text on the pic page, I don't have any problems with that either. You can link up your url, but as DD said no popup hell BS. Good luck to ya'! |

As far as I'm concerned, as long as the pics are a minimum of 500 on a side, AND not too compressed (I hate smooth, blurry pics), that is fine...
As far as thumbs, they can be smallish - the idea is to get surfers to click on the banners, not the pics  Copyright??? Cool - as long as not a blind link, etc... |

I don't want to mark my pics, I just want to put that (c) text on bottom of my pages. It has (c) to same domain my site is, and if domain name is linked it goes to the index page of that domain, where is some kind of hub. No pop ups, links to sponsor sites and POTD/hosted galleries. I can keep the (c) unlinked, no problem at all. Thanks for all. I start my free site building at 1.2.2004.
