A question about categories.

A question thats been bugging me for a little while is this one.

I have a reality style site, 3 or 4 guys doing one chick, I have 6 movies x 20 sec a piece on there.

Do I have to use the 'movies' category on the link lists or could I use a gangbang/group/reality cat instead? I notice there are a few link lists that dont even have a movies/vids category which is unusual.

I guess it would be stupid of me not to use a movie category as they would be more popular would they not?

I'd use the category.
Never mind how many hits you get, it's the conversions that count.
And a lot, if not most, LL's prefer it this way

Yup, this subject comes up from time to time...and most prefer to stick with the niche

That's exactly why it shouldn't be that surprising that some lists don't have movies categories.

So your all saying stick with group or niche category instead of using a movie category? I thought I might get rejected for submitting something with movies and I didnt submit it to the movies category.

Hi JD,

I also build freesites, some of them movie sites, and have never knowingly been rejected for subbing to the niche rather than the movies category. I'd definitely stick to the group category for the site you described above

So when would I submit to the movies category? I guess for a generic style movies site mabe something like videosz? I will go with the niches from mow on for more directed traffic )

I agree, use the niche catagory. Plus will be more targeted traffic, could make more sales.

Timely thread...I was just wondering the same. To expand a bit on this question what about if you are promoting a paysite in the big tits niche and your content has a couple of latina girls with big tits doing each other and a guy. This could fit into latina, big tits, group or hardcore... Is there a rule of thumb?

In that case submit it to the category that closest matches your sponsor.
