Audio Question
I am looking for suggestions as to how to create audio clip files. Ideally I would record on camera and pull from tape rather than using a microphone. Any and all help is appreciated!

Eighteen 'til I Die

About three years ago, I had a large project that required me to do something similar. I purchased a program called Gold Wave. It did the trick for me,never used it again, and lost it in an hd crash

I plan on talking with an amateur digital music mixing friend of mine this pre-holloween weekend. I'll see what he suggests.
![]() Are you looking for something with every amount of control, like the audio version of photoshop, or something simple?

Chop- thanks for the tip- looks cheap enough to experiment with
![]() Virgohippy- Looking forward to your friend's suggestions. I just want really basic (idiot friendly) capabilities. I listen to talk radio, I have no concept of what makes good audio ![]() Please keep 'em coming |

Quicktime Pro lets you split the audio and video of a movie although it really wouldn't be my first choice since it has such a basic interface but it is really simple to use.
