Sometimes you just can't win

Last month I exceeded my bandwidth limitation on my server. So I bought an extra 10 GB and streamlined some things reducing my daily consumption by about a third. I figured this would get me through till the first of the year....fuck was I wrong.

The last ten days of the month, traffic to XXX Blog Index doubled and guess what....I've again exceeded my limits.

I guess that's a good news bad news kind of thing.

But, to make matters worse, I'm kind of stuck right now. I traded cars with a friend who wanted to spend the week playing in the sand and just happened to forget and leave my wallet in the glove box of my truck. So I'm working really hard at coming up with a solution to my existing problem but may experience a longer than wanted amount of down time.

I apoligize for all inconvienances and rest assured this matter will get resolved.

what has "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" to do with the "forget and leave my wallet in the glove box of my truck"?

You really need to get another hosting provider. Putting a error message on a site is simply stupid, a hosting provider should just give you a couple extra GB's. You will have to pay a lot for those extra GB's but in the end it is much better than downtime.

Already got the new host and will be moving soon.

oke, so? when i got my host they had my creditcard number, i dont need the cards afterwards, only if they are stolen then i have to block them or change them, for you it would be good to look over your stuff and realy think what you need on bandwidth, that will prevent you from getting the bad message and loosing money because people cant get on your sites.I hope it will work out for you

I agree, I fucked up...There is no real excuse for it. I can promise I am sitting here red faced and feeling like a complete fool for making this mistake a second time around and the issue should be resolved very soon.

No no, it's advanced spam, web 3.0 style. I'm so advanced in my marketing techniqes I don't even need to tell people where or what my goods are, I make people want them so much they'll go out and find them on their own.

Actually, I have a very young site now, so I'll sneak in a few here and there.

I put a new one on the drawing board myself the other day...Chase The Walrus....but don't look for anything too soon. I've got the domain and a general concept but need to refine it quite a bit before I give it life.

Walrus- We've all been in silly and embarassing situations at one time or another. I'm sure that those who value their exchanges with you will be happy to wait out the few days till you sort out your train wreck of a situation lol!

True. It's not even an issue for me. Life happens. Btw, I'm hosted at Cyberwurx where they just just charge you an extra buck for each gig you go over. I'm about to do my third plan upgrade there and I've had zero problems there.
