Scumbags that use sex to sell
Now, i've been around long enough to know that there are tons of "no bullshit" webmasters. Ones that don't deal with pop ups or unders, that don't deal with installers and dialers. It freakin urks me to find the other guys.
So i was posting on a MSN group forum that i'm part of. Out comes 10 spamed out messages about jessica alba giving anal and this celeb doing this and that. I am thinking to myself this has got to be some asshole trying to spam to get affiliate sales. I checked the website and it contains an unplayable movie. There is a Codec you "have" to download to watch the movie that doesn't exist. It's a .exe program. Here is the link....DO NOT download it, and probly shouldn't go there. www.jessica-alba-in-anal-action-movie.info So smelling the bullshit i went to whois, and looked up the domain, and i ended up getting a weird return. 10 query not allowed So i'm assuming some asshat has his server setup for this at home. But how could he get the domain? He would just have to have an IP. So i tried another at DNS Stuff Admin ID ![]() Admin Name:Jeremy Wild Admin Organization:Site Hosting Online LTD Admin Street1:14th floor - 700 West Pender St. Admin Street2: Admin Street3: Admin City:Vancouver Admin State/Province:British Columbia Admin Postal Code:BC V7C 2G8 Admin Country:CA Admin Phone:+1.6046382527 Admin Phone Ext.: Admin FAX: Admin FAX Ext.: Now, where have i heard this name before. And how do we as the responsable community deal with these guys. I use to simply turn them to the affiliate programs that they run, but this stuff is annoying. I remember several articles about 2257, various laws in place accusing the webmasters of no policing ourselfs, and though we do, i mean what exactly are we suppose to do with 10 million idiots like these running around and spamming? A rant, a thought, a question, whatever. |

The WHOIS info is either bogus or a front. The site is hosted in the Ukraine. Probably part of a very large organized network of such sites.

I've been reading elsewhere recently about these download codecs stealing affiliate codes.
Basically, there's sites with unplayable videos telling you to download codec & once visitor has this codec, it will replace refcodes of links on other pages visitor visits.. For example.. Visitor A downloads codec from page you shown above.. next, Visitor A goes to someporntgp.com & links on someporntgp.com now contain refcodes belonging to affiliate who had codec installs on unsuspecting visitors |

Since about Nov of last year this has blossomed into a real issue if you are an affiliate WM - right now its extimated that about 10-20% of sales on TGPs are being stolen using these
Ill see if I can get one of the people thats been involved with tracking this down to post over here as you will find the affiliate programs either cant or wont do anything with a few notable exceptions - the rest just take the sales because they dont see any changes and dont look to see where the sales come from |
