2257 Question
Hello,
My website is in Hebrew and is hosted in the US. Do you recommend hosting the site in Israel and avoid the 2257 issue? As far as I know Israel doesn’t have any laws similar to 2257. Thanks in advance! |

Heh Heh Heh! Lisa! Vampires are make believe, just like elves and gremlins and eskimos!

If you aren't a US citizen, then it isn't really an issue where you host the site. The same goes for US citizens who think if they host outside the US they are somehow avoiding the law. The law is based on individuals and companies, not the host.

Thank you for answering!
Just to make it clear. As a Canadian Citizen conducting business from Canada and hosting an adult website in the US, I don’t have to keep 2257 Information. Only US citizens have to follow it? Sorry for the novice questions. Thanks! |

Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless

The standard answer is 'check with your lawyer'.. but you shouldn't have any problem.
If the traffic is mostly from Israel, hosting it there may benefit your site's growth i.e. faster local connection to surfers, more bookmarkers, return visitors etc (assuming hosting porn is allowed there) |
