Sponsors stats don't match statcounter?
I have a site (not a free site) that utilizes statcounter to inform me of traffic activity. I've just checked in with the sponsors that statcounter says this site recently sent some traffic to and strangely the numbers don't match.
More than one sponsor is reporting less activity than statcounter. One sponsor reports that I didn't have any traffic on the 11th while statcounter reports 25 clicks to them. Is this common? Am I reading this wrong? Can sponsors be counted on to report your refferals to them accurately? What's the best way to approach a sponsor with such an issue?

If a sponsor says 0 clicks double check your affiliate code.
If the sponsor clicks are slightly less than on your end it could be many surfers close the window before the page, and your tracking code, has finished loading. |

The main sponsor in question is reporting only 1 hit for the 12th(I originally posted the 11th but it's the 12th that is in question). Statcounter reports at least 25 exits from my page to this sponsors' FHG links that contain my NATS encoded ref. I copy pasted all the links directly.
I am also finding differences between statcounter and Google analytics. Statcounter reports more uniques, more returning and more pageloads than GA. Is there another, better, more trusted way to keep an eye on traffic? Is this something that I should ask my affiliate manager about? I'm concerned about being perceived as biting the hand that feeds me if I say anything. But I'm also concerned about my ref's and signups being counted accurately. I could post screenshots if need be. Help me obi-wan.....

there's the disparity. Hits to FHGs are *not* counted, just hits to the tour. Although that is giving you an idea about the quality of the FHGs ...

I just read your TGP2 articles. The TGP2 format seems like something I should try. Listening to show archives now. Feel free to PM me any links, info, etc. I'm curious.
