Hey everyone, my names Jake, I'm obviously a new member here. Just wanted to say hey and tell a little bit about myself.

I'm 18 years old, from Iowa, graduated high school, like to design websites in my free time.

I recently started a new TGP site, which is located at:
www.pornllama.com

It's all going good so far, but was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to get some quality back links. Here in about a week, I will be starting 2 more domains, with those domains I will be looking for link trading partners, but there are not links to any other sites on Porn Llama.

Any traffic tips would be appreciated, thanks!

Traffic is the plentiful via tgp submits and free site submits. Using chameleon submitter, those have been my main sources of traffic. However, you can manually submit to a few select sites and apply for partner accounts and get as much or more traffic.

It is also my primary source of backlinks. I haven't really started a direct link exchange with other sites - sometimes called "hard links", but I understand this is also a very good way to build traffic and seo ranking.

I like your site, but get some feedback. Make changes you feel are inline with your vision for your site. The parameters for building an adult site that other webmasters would be willing trade links with you are fairly stringent. Generally hard link trades are very niche specific. Your site may or may not need to send traffic before your link appears. Usually the larger established sites will wait until you send x number of clicks. There are numerous other rules like no popups, circle jerks, automatic scripts, etc... Basically your site needs to be fairly "static" in nature, but updated often. However, updating should be automated as possible using whatever scripts you find useful. For tgp sites, tgpx is popular.

Once you have a site "ready" for hard link trades, start visiting various forums to find sites that have hard link trade submit forms and webmasters looking to trade links. You should be able to get a handful of webmasters that will give you the benefit of doubt and trade links with you even though you are new. The key here is to start building trust within the adult webmaster community and be a good neighbor.

Setup your own hard link trade submit form on your site. Once you have earned the trust of the general community, people will begin to search you out and request links from you. By this time you should have a good feel for who you trust and would trade links with. There are webmaster who don't want to be on the same page with other webmasters and/or sponsors. You'll learn as you go.

Thanks for the feedback Mark, I'm trying to keep other sites links off Porn Llama, but at the end of the month when I start the other two domains I will definitely look into hard link trading.

Once the other domains are up, they will be TGP sites as well. I was going to make about 50%-60% of the galleries just link to Porn Llama, this should help as well right?

Seems like you've done your research. I just started putting links to my sites directly from my galleries, so I can't give you my personal experience on that.

However, I know howling-wulf does this pretty regularly, so maybe he or someone else with this practice can chime in.

The key to linking (as you probably know) is linking to a target page (usually the index page) with the keyword(s) in the anchor text.

I'm seeing some traffic come in from the links directly, but I only started a couple of days ago, so I can't quantify on seo benefits of the anchor text links yet - at least as it pertains to this business.

However, I do get fairly steady traffic on the keywords I use in the galleries and probably getting some seo benefit from the title when the tgp uses it for the anchor text when they list it. However, I can't quantify the last variable since I don't know which or how many tgp sites use my title for the anchor text.

You really just have to experiment. Try to setup all your tracking methods early on (for whatever you want to track) so you can come up with your own winning strategies. Following someone else's strategy - even to the letter - rarely works.

Once you have the fundamentals down, you have to practice. Just remember to be your own coach. Correct your mistakes and stay motivated.

Most of my inbound links aren't my title exactly, but always contain words from the title, so that's good I guess

Have you or anyone else tried Ad Words at all for free adult sites?
Ad Words seems to generate pretty good traffic for most websites, but I've never tried it with an adult / porn site, was looking for some feedback on that as well.

If good feedback for AdWords will definitely be throwing Google a few bucks
