One thing that I noticed right off the bat is that the site is not really designed for viewing over 800 pixels wide - everything looks stretched out & out of place to me

It might have been for those 3 sponsor text links on the index page that are placed near the recip links.. they are a bit blind... I doubt that site got knocked back by many linklists though.. the linklist that rejected you may have had way too many submits and needed to be extra hard on you that day... dont take it personal ;-)
