Managing Fonts?
Hi all,
I've got a rather large font collection which seriously bogs down Photoshop after a few minutes use.....it also slows down XP but it's not as noticeable. Can anyone recommend the best way to manage fonts easily? Cheers, CelticTiger.

I don't use PS personally. I do know that there isn't much you can do to make fonts load faster in win machines.

I love The Font Thing. Easy to organize, load/unload fonts and it's free

I have a about 2 gigs of fonts and use Suitcase to manage them.
Been using this since the eighties. A few years ago they came out with a Windows version too. |

Thanks for the suggestions....I'll give them both a try and see which best suits.

I use a program called "Font Lister". I have about 10,000 fonts. Not sure what that is in file size.

I'm in the same boat as JenC with about 10,000. It certainly increases PhotoShop's load time, but once it is open, it's fine. I don't know why it would bog it down while running.
