So are weekends bad or something?

I had a really awesome week... making on avg 3 sales a day.. and then Saturday/Sunday comes... nothing.

Is this normal? To weekends normally suck?

Funny, I generally sell the best on Sundays when football season is over. My theory is that a guy goes out Saturday night, tries to get lucky, doesn't, and resorts to the Palm Sisters

I've noticed the same thing too.

Personally, especially after a busy weekend, my fleshlight almost always seems to get plently of love and affection on a Sunday night.

I know I shouldn't complain... but it's completely disheartening. Last week I was making 2,3 even 5 sales a day for 6 days straight!! and then this week.. so far only 1 sale. I don't really get it...

I guess I got too excited too quickly.. lol.

I usually see less traffic on the weekends, but signups are similar or more than during the week.

Tinkerbell, just like any other kind of statistics, you have to have a large enough grouping to get a good idea of what is going on. Keep doing what you are doing and wait a while and then look at it. Don't let one bad weekend get you down. A lot of stuff could have been going on.

And besides, looking at Greenie's comment, think about the weekends and where your traffic is coming from. Most likely from people with families and college students with their brand new credit cards. The family people probably spend more time with the family and the college students probably are off getting drunk instead of hanging out on their PC.

Has your traffic gone down alot? Would be the first question. As Jim said, you cant watch your stats day to day, you need to look longer term like a week or a month, often it evens out in the end.

Lol... somehow I just don't think the site I'm referring to caters to this kind of crowd... not to rely on a stereotype or anything.

Good news though, I wrote CCBill and they said that they've been experiencing a bug in their system concerning affiliate reports, so I'm hoping this is the problem. My sales ratio went up from 1:140 last week to 1:1400! this week... so I'm pretty sure there is something strange going on.

Have people had similar experiences with CCbill?

My ratios regularly fluctuate. I've seen stronger extremes on both sides then what you're describing now. It's just part of business - lots of ups and lots of downs.

Like Virgo sez,
And a bad week is nothing, if I have a bad month I worry a bit, but I'm not just going with one source of income, if CCBill craps out, or anyone else, I generally seem to make up for it somewhere else. If my traffic is steady it all usually works out.
Diversify, unfortunately this is the only biz I'm good at, so I diversify within the biz Splitting your work between short-term and long-term projects makes a lot of sense as well.
As has been said here repeatedly, "Keep Building!"

I have noticed over the past 3 to 4 months that my traffic is better during the week. Thursday,Friday are my heaviest days. Saturday sucks and Sunday traffic is ok,but I do make sales. So less traffic but better ratio. It still gets me down, so I know how you feel.
