What is the correct size for a favicon.ico?
I'm a little confused here... I was probably one of the first adult webmasters to put a favicon with each of their major sites; back in 1999 the common rule was that a favicon could be only 16x16 pixels.
Is this still true, or is it in the meantime 32x32 or even 64x64 pixels? I see so many favicons which show shadings I could never archive in 16x16... Thanks for your help.
