Newbie question :-)

I'm finally getting some SE hits to the free sites I've made in the last few months.
However, there seems to be something strange about my listings.
Let's say 1 of my sites is called "Sexy Blonde Amateurs". In that case my site would show up in the top 5 for a search on "sexyblondeamateurs" but when I search for "sexy blonde amateurs" my site is nowhere to be found.
I'm having the same "problem" on quite a few of my sites.
Can anyone tell me what's causing this?
TIA

There's a ton more competition for the latter keyphrase, and very little competition for the former.

It's fairly easy to get a top listing for a non-competitive keyphrase.
