Many are looking at this as a year to decide on a new Commander-In-Chief of the United States, but more is at hand. The Free Speech Coalition ( FSC ) is attempting to create a litigation fund to help protect our rights.

Much is at stake for us in the Adult Industy. Recent proposed for changes in USC Title 18 Section 2255 could spell ruin for many praticing Free Enterprise and legitimately working in our trade.

Attempts are being made to incease burdens of protection against Child Pornography. MethodCash is a strong supporter of prosecution of these purveyors of sick material. But due to the missdeeds of some, all are to be punished and legal workers privacy will be lost.

The new 2257 is imposing severe documentation restrictions on the workers in our industry to the point of wanting to require reams of documentation to even resell a program.

If the Justice Department has their say, the privacy of many will be breached. The personal information given in trust to providers and primary producers will become fair game for anyone signing up for a program. Would you want your personal information up for grabs to just anyone, or just the one you trusted to protect it for you?

According to Attorney Jeffrey Douglas, a member of the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) litigation steering committee reflected their concern as follows:

“Even if the proposed regulations are substantially modified in response to the public comments, the fundamental problems with… 2257 will still exist,”...“That is, the law violates privacy rights, First Amendment protections, and creates an unnecessary significant economic burden on this industry of small businesses.” Read the full article here.
