Question bandwidth for own server

Hey guys, I was just hoping there is a 'web server' expert on board here - I am trying to setup a small web server from my office for... it'll only run about 20gb of bandwidth per month... my local DSL company says their 800kb/s upload speed will handle it fine (and yes, they supply a dedicated IP). Is that true? And, I realize there are peak usage times, but given 800kb/s and 'average peaks', what kind of bandwidth could I get out of this?

Second, I have 5 domains for 5 different sites - I know I can send them all to my 1 IP and let the server 'separate' them - but what are the benefits for having an IP for each domain?

Thanks!

This is only my opinion, but here's some problems you might run in to.

If you're a new submitter I usually look into where you're hosted and some other things.
If I see that a domain is hosted on a "home" server, I reject that submission.
* It's easy to change IP, great for cheaters. Not saying that you're a cheater though.
* DSL/Cable/... connections has a tendency to not have a 99.99% uptime, your sites are more likely to get pulled by linkbots that regularly check if sites are up and working.
