Hello all. Merry Christmas!!!|santaslei

I was wondering what a good stat program would be. My server dosent offer very good stats. i want to see who is sending the me the most traffic and concentrate on these LL's.

AW Stats. GNU Public license, available free at sourceforge.net. If it isn't already on your server ask support if they'll install it (they've probably already got it laying around). I've never had to install it myself, but I hear it's not too bad to install if support won't do it for you.

i installed it myself and it was fairly easy

I usually just use analog.exe but it's not set up to display monthly referal reports, so I just wrote a php scrip that records hits to a mysql db every time there's a hit on a free site index page. Not a real accurate count but it gives me an idea of what's going on.

I use Awstats and Webalizer as i have both of them installed on my server. They both show different stats, whats more reliable? anyone knows??
