We are having a heatwave here this moring its a blamy 21 F

With only a few more days left to Christmas I often wonder am I the only person in the world who likes fruit cake

Happy Fruit Cake Tuesday Everyone!

Yes - we are having a heat wave here in Buffalo - up to 23 now & supposed to climb to to the high 30's, low 40's for the next few days - which of course means that all this lovely snow will melt & this brown sludge will appear & everything will look like complete shit until it snows again.

I think The Bitch is making me go shopping today, so I'll be scarce for a few hours - but then it's back to the grind

Good Morning

It is so nice and peaceful at my household this morning. No jackhammers, no singing carpenters, no wet tile saws, no Puerto Rican house guest so no loud Spanglish conversations, just birds singing.

The IBM drive in Angel's laptop died yesterday so I get to be a fixit girl to the queen when the new drive arrives later today. Fucking IBM drives, it is less then a year old, spins up for about twenty minutes and then starts making a loud noise and dies but since it does spin up for twenty minutes at a time I was able to clone it to a disk image so I can just hit restore when the new one comes in.

Going to go to the gym this morning and then I should be home for the rest of the day.

In 2.5 hours I'll be out of this square concrete box people call an office for the rest of the year.

I'll finally be able to hear the radio show live this week and next week, NOT!

On the other hand lots of stuff that has been put on hold for many weeks now will get done

I almost forgot to post our temp for today.

65˚ F (18˚ C) this morning with a high expected of 72˚ F.

Makes having to live through four hurricanes in six weeks kind of worth it.

I may ride my bicycle down to the beach this afternoon.

It's a nipply -20 this morning here, but will warm up and should be raining by tomorrow... before we wander back down below 0F again...

girlfriend is on her way over, so I will be scarce most of the day. Finally started christmas shopping last night, so I should be done by february or so.

On the plus side, I ordered myself this set of speakers for my video editing system, THX surround sound, so I am going to have some pretty sounding porn videos in the new year. It's all good :-)

Back later... have a porn selling making money kind of a day.

I envy the heat wave.. my yard is covered with ice and I checked my post yesterday and fell down and hit my left leg and lower back badly... even sitting hurts like hell. I took some pain killers and slept 10 hours but I'm in pain still.
