Time Warner Security Sucks
After being on the phone trying to get the basic $24.95/month with free installation deal, I finally hung up on them. That is after the hidden charges came to over $900 for installation.

The problem with those free installation rackets is the fact that they typically only give you one door sensor and 2-3 window sensors. If you live in a teepee, you'd be covered, but if you live in a house, you're screwed. They really rack up the cost of installation by adding on extra doors and windows - which is necessary just to a get decent basic system that'll cover your ground floor. (I sold home security systems for Protection One for two weeks.

...and they'll tell you that you'll need to get sensor's on every window since the motion detector will go off because of all the pets.
I'm on the 2nd one that's trying to sue me because I canceled my account early. |

They are fuckers...
The told me because of the size of my house, I had to buy a certain number of smoke detectors from that at $150 per. I asked them, "are you also insuring the house"? Who the fuck are they to tell me I have to get extra smoke detectors? |
