I have a few Ebooks that will get you up to speed Selena PM me your e-mail addy and I'll send them to you
I wouldn't buy any of the products advertised though your going to find most of the "easy to add to your web site" scripts are useing java or Iframes so there not going to help you any with the search engines. I've just started playing with one that's looking ok except the the install instructions were so screwed up I had to get Brian from Colo-Cation to sort it out for me, I have spent alot of time looking a standalone RSS solution that is realy simple if the one I'm useing now doesn't work out I'll put Kaktus on the case

That which does not kill us, will try, try again.

T Pat... I was thinking about talking with Kaktus about this too, but from the standpoint of being a sponsor who's interested in offering RSS feeds. The only method I've seen so far does use iframes, and I'm wondering if there are other alternative ways to do this.

Kaktus is working on an affordable and easily duplicable Solution Simon, I gave up on the one I was testing last night. I'm sure RSS Feeds are going to be hot, you can get the same kind of success Blogs are having with the search engines by spitting out a feed and aggregators are a great way to automatically ad content. I have spent allot of time and money looking at the different solutions and your right most use Iframes or Java and the ones that aren't are custom coded or over priced for a solution that in my minds eye is half of the equation (just a feed or just a reader). I know someone else that thinks RSS Feeds are going to be hot and that's Sparky and I base that on Him spending the extra time needed to write RSS into the Javes script

Sure not trying to cut in on Kaktus but I think the man to speak with is CD34 (Sparky). When Gabbo was still around he pointed me to a good solution for rss feeds

There's no doubt about Sparky being the most knowlegable person I know on RSS, I've picked his brain on the subject to the point he should have charged me a consultation fee, but I don't think what I want is available, if their going to call it real simple syndication it should be real simple even for a half brain dead old man like me,the feed part is the easy part it's the getting a reader that's capable of displaying text, photos vidios and E-mails(I can also see a need for sound in the near future) on everything without useing I frames at a one time low price or no price and a learning curve of 60 mins or less that has me stumped. Amazon scripts go from free on up most use Iframes, mainstream produts like RSS Equlaizer, XSite pro and Killer SEO are easy to use but they are website builders so you would still need an Iframe to add a feed reader useing one of those programs the best solution I've found I shit canned last night when I was upgradeing to the payed version and really read the fine print http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/ it's going to cost 30 for a single site up to $180 for a company license. So I'm going to do a joint venture with Kaktus and make it affordable for everyone includeing me.
Chop on a more seriouse note Torn tells me Gabbo never went anywhere he still here

T Pat, thanks for the info. I am running behind, and haven't had a chance to read it yet. I may have to come back here and post questions when I do.
