The etiquette of TGP sites and traffic trades

Would a webmaster run a traffic trading script (scripts like CJOverkill) on a TGP site where he accepts submits? Or would the 'good guy webmaster' not do both at the same site?

Being completely a newbie with the world of traffic trades, I wanted to hear from you experienced guys on what is the proper "good guy" etiquette of conducting traffic trades on my TGP sites.

Now for clarity on terminology, I mean traffic trading as opposed to say just trading links, recipts or only exit traffic.

SO what's your view on that?
