ISP from Hell part 746

Afternoon all-
Seems my ISP decided to update to DHCP today.
Do you think they let me know about it before hand?? - NOT
And since it's not just one computer, I have to call tech support. Waited for about 20 minutes on hold, went through all the regular stuff... should have taken 5 minutes, but after 30 minutes on the phone, still nothing works.
So I tell them it's on their end, and they need to reset it from their end.
They don't listen.

45 minutes later, a tech guy shows up at my house. Which was cool because he's a friend of mine I haven't seen in awhile. So he goes through all the same things I just did. Still nothing.

He calls back to the office, "Hey why don't you try to reset it from your end?"
Bingo, finally things work.

So reviews are 3 hours behind, and I have to get my ass in gear now.

Hope your day is going better than mine
