Question about the way I link to paysites...

Hi all. First post here - seems like a good place to be.

I'm working on a link management backend for galleries and freesites and trying to figure out how I should do my paysite links. Will I get listed if I do the following:

On my freesite, instead of using a standard paysite link like this:

paysite.com/?affid=12345

I would filter the links through my own script that would then send the surfer to the paysite:

mysite.com/go/paysite123/

By doing this, I can change the links if I need to (promo codes, closed sites, etc). Can also do click tracking on my end.

Any input? Thanks.

I don't see anything wrong with doing it that way, infact it sounds like a good idea as long as it doesn't bog down when you hit a link or have thousands of links

Thanks for your input. I didn't think it would be a problem either, but wanted to make sure before I code my system. TGPs don't really allow that kind of linking it seems. I guess I'll stick with freesites!
