 I'll be really scarce today - after I finish reading the board & updating the links, I have to run & dom some shopping as I need to get a draft board for my Fantasy Football draft tomorrow night  I also have to do some prep work for tonight's FF draft & I have to get some Fantasy Hockey stuff done & sent into my commish for that league (which drafts Sept 23rd) Have a nice day  |

ackk good morning
 finally some sun here (not much) still to tired, working on the last things, then weekend, tomorrow i have a big bbq, sunday my hubby will be 40 and i got a sick kid.....i wish this week would be over and it would be next monday today...then i get a easy week again...i wish you all a great day and a great weekend |

Morning all,
August went down as the August with the least hours of sun since they began measuring it. Only 36 hours or so. I went to soccer practice yesterday and now my entire body hurts. I guess I spent too much time on my chair the last couple of months. Have a nice day all |

Ahhh the crisp fall air.. it's only 104 here today... I've been a running fool this week.. and i need to buy a cheap (refurbished or scratch/dent) laptop for my rugdawg for school needs to be wifi'd, decent graphics card cuz you know not ALL the time will be Biology that's about it..so if you have an old laptop languishing in your closet.. hit me up. Those traveling for the long weekend.. drive carefully. |

I have to finally meet the state engineers to see how much of my land they want to buy from me. They have a really stupid idea about stopping the flooding we get in town by flooding my land up the creek about a mile. Stupid idea but according to my logger, the land is worth more than $1 million over the next 100 years. That's what they wanted to know Besides that, it's Friday and it is a holiday weekend |

Today has to end better then yesterday…
Had a nice dinner with Angel and then came home and got ready for bed. After taking a shower and doing all my before going to bed skin pampering went to climb under the sheets when I was greeted with the oder of cat piss in a big wet spot in the middle of my bed. I take all the bedding off of my bed and throwing, what would fit, in the washing machine I put my spare set of sheets on the bed but still needed a clean comforter so went in the guest room to grab one off of the guest bed. As I walk into the room I'm greeted with the strong oder of cat shit and spot a big fresh turd in the middle of the guest bed. Best I can figure out my youngest cat that was a feral kitten when I took her in at about ten weeks of age and is still a on the wild side got pissed at me for locking the cat door. I had locked the cat door to keep her in the house as I've been giving her extra TLC since she still hides when I have friends over and is scared of me if I'm in any position other then laying down. Really I wanted to kill the little bitch but instead after I went to bed and she crawled up next to my head I just petted her and we all fell asleep along with my other three cats also in bed with me. Doing the gym things once I've had espresso, eaten, taken a shower, and gotten into ugly gym clothes. Other than that I'm clueless what I'm doing with the rest of today. |

Whew, that was close. I thought that other September 1st thread was for good mornings at first. (Blessings on both you guys.) We have thousands of tourists headed back down US 1 again now that the storm is out of here. Plenty of supplies already laid in against Ernesto, so no need to go fight with them over vittles. Good weekend to get some work done. A good Friday, and weekend if you're having one, to all. - --hey, it's just Fantasy Football right now, right? nothing to do with the Superbowl pool yet?

TGIF!
Week is almost over and I will get my 18-hour of sleep from Sunday AM til Monday. Glad that the month of August was over. Pretty hard month in terms of expenses. I'm plannig of cutting off my expenditures coz I'll be back on the road again traveling across the country. Summer is over around the states while it's raining almost everyday here. Hope everything will be fine around this whole month of September Have a great day to all.

Good Morning all I'm soooooo happy!
I'm back online. My internet slowed down to dialup on Monday. I called, they said it was a tower problem.By wed, I called back, found out it was ME not the tower, so they scheduled the tech for Friday (today). At that point, I totally lost all internet on my main connection. My secondary connection was also out. The $500 Cisco bridge I had to buy to get the service 2 1/2 years ago was toast. They replaced it for only $75 with a linksys router configured to work as a bridge then got me back up. (the same one I could have paid $50 for a WalMart) I went to dsl reports and ran a speed test 55k down 26k up. Thanks.  The tech said, I don't put a lot of faith in those tests, I go by ping time. So they pinged their own office, which is like, oh 3 miles from my house? Getting ping times of like 300 - 1000ms. That just makes me feel warm and fuzzy.So today, the tech for Keyon, my heros, came out and replaced my antenna for FREE, and now my connection speed test is 1.4 down. Whooo HOOOOO! I just couldn't even stand to go online the last few days with that peice of shit slow internet that was dial up speed. Poor MadHatter has been checking the link lists, about wanting to kill himself waiting for pages to pull up. But we are back to normal now just in time for the weekend. Hope everyone has been doing well the past week, I feel soooo out of the loop.
