Bandwidth stats vs webalizer

Hello all,

I have a strange thing going on with my bandwidth usage.
In my cpanel I have access to bandwidth stats, webalizer and awstats.
When I compare my bandwidth stats with webalizer and awstats the difference is huge.
Here some examples:
domain 1: bandwidth stats 23 GB - webalizer/aw 6 GB
domain 2: bandwidth stats 5 GB - webalizer/aw 2.5 GB
domain 3: bandwidth stats 19 GB - webalizer/aw 9.6 GB
domain 4: bandwidth stats 11 GB - webalizer/aw 5.6 GB
domain 5: bandwidth stats 38 GB - webalizer/aw 11 GB
domain 5: bandwidth stats 23 GB - webalizer/aw 5.6 GB

I mailed them about this and they said they had found the problem and fixed it. I only needed to wait for things to update.
But after 2 weeks I still have these readings so I mailed back.
Now they say

Since all of the other are correct it leads me to believe that you must
be uploading / downloading a lot of data from several of the sub-domains.
"This report includes HTTP, SMTP, FTP and POP3 traffic."
Is stated under the "Bandwidth" section. Does this aide in the situation?
I never dowload or use pop3 I only upload my freesites and some files to my link lists.
Can anyone explain this?

Thats what I first thought but I found the Cpanel forum with a strange thread.
It is from people with the same problem as me. It obvisiously is a bug in Cpanel but the tread is running for 2 years! and nobody from Cpanel ever answered about a fix for this problem.
http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=20695

I find it very bad some big software developers have no good support.
I have this with Norton too. After a SmitFraud attack last week and after 2 days of fighting trojaan horses my Norton Ghost is not working anymore even after reinstalling from a CD.
This is their support:
You can send a ticket and have to whait for I still don't now how long(3 days now) for a reply.
Or you can call them for 29 euros.

run a raw log file with funnel web, take your raw log stats and compare to both ... hopefully the raw logs would give you a better idea of the bandwidth use
