Anyone know of good banner rotation software for PHP/MySQL(free or open-source)?

I tried phpAdsNew, but it's pretty bloated and slow, and takes too long to simply add a banner. I'll probably just end up making my own in the end, but banners aren't my #1 priority just yet.

Banner management software depends a lot on your intended use. IMO for targeted (keyword, time-based, geo-location, etc) you can't get better than PAN... for free.

Did you look at the 'sister' of phpAdsNew, Max Media Manager? I believe it is considerably faster than PAN

Yeah, I don't really need much in the way of targeting, or tracking. Just rotation, and some simple stats tracking (impressions, click-through%)

Ah well... it's simple enough I guess I'll just make my own.

If that's all you need, then, yes, it is fairly simple to make your own.

I got fed up too. I am just in trhe middle of making my own context sensitive banner ads script. Looks at page title and description then tries to find one of three keywords associated with each ad (ie - ebony, movie, softcore) it serves the ad with the highest keyword score, if not then one at random
