lol, actually, I like the look and design of it. I'm just not sure where a site like that would fit in - most LLs have a 20-24 pic OR 2 min movie rule...it would be interesting to hear if it would be accepted like it is. Most of the pic/movie hybrids I've seen have 2 pic galleries with bonus videos on them.

Hey Ponygirl thanks for the reply. I was wondering the same myself about the combo... I think I meet 50% of the normal LL requirement for each gallery so I guess it could be a classification issue.

I like it too, but my list is so itty bitty I don't have enough sites to break down my categories between pics and vids, so my vote shouldn't count.

I imagine with something as well designed as that site it may be a fairly safe risk to try submitting it to a bunch of lists just to see what happens. If it doesn't fly, then you'll know for the future. Just hold off on those sites that distinguish between pics and vids until you get a feel for what reviewers are looking for.

Please post the results if you do submit it.

Nice looking site!
I got in to the free site submit game within the last few months it's a lot of fun
There are many things to get adjusted to and the best advice I can give is to, disagree if you want, but make the change
Or don't get listed... simple as that!
You might not get listed anyway... so what, keep building

At times, I've been doing summeolts, smashing my air guitar and thinking that the porno world is crazy and unfair.... it just got me dizzy, LOL!

So, looking at your site, and recognizing that yo have made an effort to make it look nice, my advice is this:

1) Your full size photos are too blury. If I had a LL I wouldn't list it because of that. Some of the sponsors I have are offering these kinds of photos and I can't see how thy are useful.
When I surf to a site, if I see crappy and unclear pics, I ain't signing up to the crappy provider of those crappy pics... maybe it's just me... or maybe not

2) The fact that the thums have a edge bevel effect makes them look a little more like ads than thumbs to me.. I don''t mind, it just flies at me like that.

3) You might wanna keep your code up to the w3c.org standards.
Whether you're using html or some other doctype. As of now, your pages are not valid.

4) I suggest that, if you don't already know, learn how to do web design/layout "by hand" instead of relying on some software.
Andult or not, too many "professionals" rely on 3rd party apps to generate simple markup code... without KNOWING what it generates. I don't recommend it for any situation.

1) You are right about the pics... They are crappy screen caps and I couldn't do much with them. I need to stay away from the poorer content. The video was OK and that was what i started with...
2) I don't think I like the bevel either...at least that much bevel on thumbs that small and again crappy.
3) The code is definitely a mess right now. I was wanting to clean it up after I had made changes...
4) I wish I could hand code but I don't think that I will ever learn to do an entire page...Good advice though.

Seems most everything has been covered. I agree with the bevel on the pics, just looks weird to me. I like the layout. Thought the ad on the pics gallery where is says "Take the Free Tour Now!", might be see to many as a blind ad.

I think I have followed everyones advice...

I made it into a movie FS so that there will be no issue with classification. I killed the bevel and reworked my thumbs to be crisper. I made the "Tour Image" more different so that it won't look as blind. I added "Instant Access" text to the bottom banner so that it appears less blind and I cleaned up the code. It is not W3C compliant but it's not far from it...

Please let me know your opinions on the revised state. Also, I am still curious if initial hardcore banner is OK since it is on the warning page...

Cool with me, I'd list it.
About hand coding, I started out with notepad and a browser, but I use programs for designing now because its GUI and it's faster. I just check the code after I'm happy with the basics of the way the site works and looks, then maybe tweak it a bit. Sometimes I have to make some bigger changes, especially with tables, but it's usually minor stuff, Notepad still comes in very handy.
Your sales approach looks good, colour scheme is easy on the eye, you should do well with it.

Seriously, I think it's a nice looking site (I don't know what it looked like before the changes), and you've used plenty of enticing text that spells out what the surfer would get by signing up, so in answer to your question in the other thread, it's stand a good chance of converting.

I guess I should have used Cardinals Red ;-) I used colors from the sponsor banners to help it blend. I've had 4 acceptances and 1 decline on it so far... Thanks for your input!
