Question about pop-up window

I found sponsor with nice sites but they have pop-up on join2 page. You can click sponsor's link on my gallery, watch trailers and free tour and leave without pop-up window. You can even click to see join page and exit without pop-up. BUT, if you visit join page and click on link to proceed, you will open join2 page. That (and only that) page have exit pop-up window. Can I promote that sponsor on major Link Lists?

I think most LL's are concerned with pop up's on your site & not so much what the sponsor is doing.
