What's the LL policy on where the content is located?
Pretty much all the link lists want your "site" to be in one single directory. But what about the content? Can the content (pics, thumbs, videos etc.) be in one central directory? I've been sticking all the content in the same directories but that's such a waste of HD space, especially if some of your domains are small virtual hosting accounts and you're doing video sites.

I put all my content in a global folder and have never had any problems. I think the main thing is "you" hosting the content from the same server that the sites are on.

Me fail English? That's unpossible!

I do use sub-dirs for gallery one/gallery two. Only one LL owner had a problem with it so I don't submit there.

As long as you host the content on the same domain you should be fine with most LL's.

Like most folks I use a central directory that is shared by all my domains.
I think you will need to set this up with your host. It will be located somewhere on your server/webspace, and will be able to be used by any of your domains, as if it were a subfolder. Say the directory is called /global/ - well, any of your domains can use it as if it were www.domain.com/global/ Very useful indeed ![]() |
