Warning page for hub
We've discussed warning pages for freesites, but I wanted to get some advice on the best way to structure a hub page. I set up my hub which has a warning, no hardcore, some ads, some link trades, and a few sexy pics. It has an "Enter" which leads to an index2 page which does have hardcore, and has my category list of sites.
Would it be best just to lose the hardcore, place a wanting at the top of the index page, and have my category list on the index page a la Green Guy LOL...? I've seen it done both ways on high traffic sites, but I was wondering about the advantages or disadvantages of having a warning page portal on a hub or LL site. |

Disadvantage, most of the site activity is NOT on the page typically favored most by link/traffic trades and SE attention; it's typically not as preferable for bookmarks and submitters. Btw, simple, clean warning pages don't seem to effect traffic flow to deeper pages for me. Most surfers click through.

My warning page is pretty straightforward, with a name like Cunt Master's I figure people don't really need to be warned that it might be a little naughty

I've always wondered if there was a god. And now I know there is -- and it's me

I LOL'd at that. Just thinking of the little granny surfer that doesn't pay attention to names

LOL, I like how your site gets down to business...yours is one of my favorites. Since you're in Canada, I wonder if the requirements might be a little different than those of us in the US (?) |
