A little mac help please

So I was running the PPC OS 10.4.11. software update and Safari stopped working. If anyone has the 3.0.3 version for mac, I'd be very glad to reinstall it... pretty please.

tia...

You can't just put an earlier version of Safari since Safari is actually just a front end for webkit which is part of your os.

You probably have some third party stuff that is incompatible with Safari.

Look in InputManagers and Internet Plug-Ins both in the root library and your home library.

Also, maybe there was a glitch of some kind during your update and Safari's code got mangled. You may want to see if you can run the updater again to reinstall the new Safari.

I reinstalled the update but it is not working.

Cleo,
I have Piclens, Inquisitor and Safariplus in Input Managers. In internet plugins. Can they interfere with this version of Safari?

I was installing the 69 M version, they have a 189 M version of the update too.

I have no idea. Remove them and see if Safari works then.

A nearly perfect combination of suggestion and avatar.
