about putting recips together

Hey guys,

been submitting galleries for a while but I still haven't really found out about what tgp-owners expect from their recips. They're required most of the time and one is told to always put about three recips together on a gal. But which one are the right ones to put together?

I just finished a little research on this, checking PR and alexa for every single tgp I ever submitted to. But I cannot find any real criteria to organize recips. So, how to put them together? By PR, by Alexa, by a quotient of both? Or by accident?

Second question is: Many tgp-owners own more than one tgp-site. Do you appreciate having your own recips on a gal (what I suppose)?

Hints very appreciated
aj.

Grouping 'em by traffic sent to your galleries makes the most sense to me.

Ok, included the traffic as a criteria also.

So what about this:
(traffic/months)*(PR)*1000/(alexarank)

here is one example
http://www.shanes-world-gallery.com/...booknasty.html

Here is another example with a mgp that all three recips are within his network of sites

http://www.shanes-world-gallery.com/...dydinosue.html

Here the last example
http://www.bravedigger.net/cgi-bin/tgp/submit.cgi
the rules are very clear on what type of recipts he wants

hope this helps with your question.

1) Make sure you have the correct reciprocal link on your gallery!
2) You must have two more reciprocal links up with mine (from sites you REALLY post the SAME gallery url at)

These are common rules for posting galleries. They just state alltogether 3 recips are required - not more not less. No hints on "what type of recipts he wants". Only a few tgp-sites say in their rules something like "my recip plus 2 others of well-known tgps" (also a quite intangible statement - well-known to who?).

Perhaps shouldnt just think too much

Regards
aj.
