Hi Noob Question on Definitions

Im wondering what the term 'ABC link' refers to...I can hazzard a guess but im not quite sure..is just another name for a text link?

A-B-C is when site a links to site b, then site c links to a or something like that. Its just so the search engines see the links as one way links.
