Anyone here has AEBN streaming your content in VOD? Is this worth it and what should I expect in terms of sales percentage and revenue?

To answer your question, I have at this time 12 fully exclusive videos in 1080p High definition (I will add more fast as I update twice a week) of an approx duration of 45 mins. Content is Teen masturbation (but our closeup niche helps a lot for conversions).

I don't have full rights on the rest of my content (either semi exclusive or non exclusive)

Teen isn't a bad niche, but still 4,600 other titles on AEBN classified as teen. Their most watched movies are all hardcore, maybe 40 bucks per title per month.

The masturbation category has 2,100 titles.
Most watched are still majority hardcore and a lot of tranny (odd in masturbation category)
maybe 25 bucks per title per month.

quick guess says you'll make about $700 per month with the 12 titles.

If you have interviews and other lead in build up in your scenes you might be able to get people to watch twice as long, add 300 per month.

If you satisfy a niche they are lacking in you could get a couple hundred more.

I searched teen masturbation on aebn and got 0 results. Maybe their search isn't that great? searching masturbation only yields 80 results.
if you can get your titles to show up when people search teen masturbation or just masturbation I would imagine you'd do much better.

maybe search isn't their major driving force, I would assume the categories are they way they get most people to browse, along with the also liked on each page.

I have around 100 titles with AEBN and I'm happy with my performance. I would recommend trying them along with the other major players on the VOD side. I find that AEBN, HotMovies each make me significantly more then xondemand, sugarvod, *********** and yappo combined. But you should try for yourself.

Also, if you do try it out I would love to know how close my guestimation is.


Also, Also, we don't take DivX avi files at this point.
we do take DVD, AVI, MPEG, MiniDV, and a shitload of other video types. Watermarking can be OK if it's small and non obtrusive.
we allow providers/studios to use their website name as their studio name as well.

Also, on HotMovies if you send traffic you can double your revenue or more, I'm not sure about AEBN. I send them some traffic, but not targeted at my studio.

If divx codecs are not allowed, could I encode the vids in WMV9 (windows codecs) AVI's? Do hotmovies and aebn sell high definition vids or should the videos be in 640x480?

WMV should be fine.

Sending in the highest definition possible is best.
