Question Any TubeX owners using lighttpd?

I wish to inquire if you don't mind sharing how did you set up lighttpd to protect your videos from being hotlinked totally.

I had asked Jeremy about reciprocating the paths to the videos in my server's root (outside public_html) and then add the port number to lighttpd in my templates but he recommended not to do it so I'm out of an idea.

I thought of doing this too but then I realized that 99% of my vids are going from someone else's server.

Mines are 100% from my own servers. Sucks if China, India and Russia hotlink me. :'(
