Waking up to a wet one here. It's just missed us hurricane Thursday 08252011
The weather here is just plain nasty with a nasty hurricane just a few hundred miles from us but feeling very lucky that it is for the most part is missing us.
Been working on what will be my first mainstream blog. So far I've got the theme done and the about page done. It has turned out to be way more work than I had thought it would be. Going to try to get a few posts in it over the next few days and then start adding in some advertising. Just working on it after my adult work is done each day so progress is painfully slow. Probably not a good day to do any boating or anything at all that involves leaving the house. |

That which does not kill us, will try, try again.

Good morning world
Minus the ocean, the sandy beach, the road and the time stamp, that's pretty much what I see out the windows here. Constant winds at 15-20 mph blowing the palm trees. Unfortunately it's a very warm and humid wind so no plans to go out and enjoy the breezes. Probably get more winds and rain later or tonight but very happy Irene will miss us too. Hoping it turns further east soon so they can stop trying to sell more batteries and plywood to everyone in it's current possible path. A good day to all.

I'm a bit worried about the hurricane hitting NY, where I live. 80-100 mph winds would be devastating here.

Good Thursday Peoples
No hurricane here, but it did rain like a mother last night. Lots of cool lightning too Another day of the same old shit - I really need to think of some new project to start before I become bored out of my mind. |

Pretty good storm came through here. A good day to stay home and work on stuff now that I've finally woken up.

Oh! I haven't changed since high school and suddenly I am uncool

I'll second that, the earthquake here in Manhattan Tues. was enough scare for the week, though I'm sure the weather will be kicking this weekend...
