Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless

what does PR amount to?

With all the emphasis I see placed on PR I'm wondering. is a high PR necessary for success? My LL is up to PR4 index, PR3 categories which is great and all but does that translate to anything beneficial for me? With so much to do in my limited time (i'm a chef in the "real" world which is 50-60 hours a week right there) I need to focus on what's most productive. Or put another way, should I be concerned with SE or just focus on generating traffic through freesites? Thanks for the help!
